My primary motivator in becoming a Civil Celebrant was following the death of my Father. I enjoyed working with the Celebrant in preparing my Father's funeral ceremony and I decided at that time what a wonderful vocation celebrancy would be. Sounds corny, but it really felt like my "calling". I can honestly say that today I just "LOVE" working with couples and families creating deeply meaningful, personalised wedding ceremonies that reflect their values, beliefs, hopes and dreams. I find it extremely rewarding writing and creating a wedding ceremony which reflects the personalities of the couple for whom it's written for. I work closely with my couples and through face-to-face meetings and my questionnaire I will help you decide how you would like your ceremony to be. It's important to me that your ceremony reflects the both of YOU! It's my aim to exceed your expectations of what a GREAT wedding ceremony should be like. Attention to every little detail is the key and this is something I'm very proud of. What I've learnt since becoming a celebrant is that couples often know exactly how they visualise their wedding ceremony, they just need the right celebrant to tap into the "specialness" about them and know how to translate their wishes, so that the end result is "the ceremony of your dreams". I will conduct your wedding ceremony wherever you like, and I particularly enjoy officiating at weddings in historic settings, which combine Australian heritage with today's modern standards and expectations.
